RemoteRig

One of the most pleasant aspects Amateur Radio gives me is the hours and hours of fun putting together and experimenting with new technologies. I recall when I thought “networking” of TCP/IP over AX.25 was so cool, I had to run my own network. Then came “voice over IP” and now I can run not just data, but entire voice QSO’s over my network. Later came IRLP and EchoLink. But now, the ultimate control of one’s own radios over the internet is here, and the most innovative of these products is the RemoteRig by MicroBit.

So I don’t work for MicroBit, but they do use my YouTube videos to sell their products, and that’s ok with me. You can find more YouTube videos at http://www.youtube.com/user/tampabayramon

I found this interesting link on how to sertup a Remoterig station in detail See this –> http://users.otenet.gr/~sv1dpi1/en/articles/remoterig.html
